Taylor Stephens

Taylor joined Networks Vermont in 2018 as a pre-licensed professional. She has her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Vermont. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that focuses on collaborating with her clients through evidence-based modalities of counseling. Her practice is most informed through orientations including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Clinically, she has years of experience working with children, teenagers, emerging adults, and families.

She believes in empowering her clients through thorough exploration of their story and examining what patterns may be contributing to their present concerns. She is passionate about incorporating the many sides of an individual into the therapeutic process and approaches all practice holistically, creatively, and with an air of humor. She considers herself skilled in working with issues relating to college-connected stress, trauma, PTSD, depression, significant periods of loss, women's issues, and overall feelings of being "stuck."  Additionally, she enjoys serving members of the LGBTQAI/ gender-diverse community as well as those on the Autism Spectrum.
