Meredith specializes in treating trauma, grief and loss, post traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anxiety disorders, couples therapy and issues pertaining to women and girls.

Her graduate training was in marriage and family therapy with an emphasis on mental health counseling. She comes from a background in community mental health counseling, therapeutic boarding, private practice and now, the non-profit sector. Her license and certification is in clinical mental health counseling and her specialized training is in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, the flash technique, polyvagal theory as well as critical incident stress debriefing.

Meredith’s approach is eclectic and individualized. She works from a humanistic, trauma informed framework while incorporating D.B.T. skills. Where appropriate she will utilize E.M.D.R. therapy as an adjunct to traditional talk therapy. She also incorporates mindfulness based practices, breath work and body awareness to add a holistic approach.

Her goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, comfortable space to those in need of psychotherapy in a non-judgmental, professional, confidential atmosphere.
