Marcy Milton

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I have practiced as a psychotherapist for more than 30 years, the past 20 years here at Networks.  In addition, I've provided psychotherapy and consultation at a mental health agency, elementary schools, pediatrics practice, Women's Rape Crisis Center, and CUSI.  My expertise in French and multi-cultural issues are invaluable resources for working with our expanding international population.

I see adults, adolescents and children who present with a range of clinical, behavioral and relational issues. I specialize in treating depression and anxiety disorders, including OCD and PTSD. I am skilled at guiding people through major life transitions such as significant losses, divorce, job changes or lay-offs, military deployment, relocations.  In addition, I run groups dealing with divorce and sexual trauma.

By blending my training in psychodynamic, CBT and hypnotherapy, I help my clients to understand the sources of their difficulties and develop effective skills to manage them.  Couples, families and even young children learn to improve styles of communication, minimize conflicts and reduce stress in their lives.
